Job summary

Kyndryl is seeking a skilled Linux Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement and maintain a secure, automated Linux environment across enterprise-scale systems. You will work on deployment automation, configuration management, and lifecycle management while ensuring robust security and high availability.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to tackle incidents, apply patches, and upgrade OS versions, leveraging tools like Ansible, Terraform and container tech.

Qualifications

• HBO/WO ICT degree or equivalent experience.
• Proven Linux/infrastructure management experience.
• RHCSA certification and RHEL expertise preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create, monitor and maintain a stable Linux infrastructure and application environment.
• Manage and operate Linux systems and platforms (RHEL, Ubuntu, etc.).
• Contribute to automated deployment, configuration management, IaC and RBAC implementations.
• Support users by identifying incidents, vulnerabilities and security risks on Linux.
• Collaborate on technical changes by handling incidents, outages and changes, delivering resilient solutions.
• Monitor performance, capacity, availability and stability of Linux infrastructure; propose improvements.
