Job summary

Maersk Terminals seeks a Senior Legal Counsel – Projects to support strategic investments across IMEA and EUR regions. You will partner with BIM and CDV teams, handling full project lifecycles from origination to execution and readiness, while safeguarding the company’s interests and reputation.

You will work with a high degree of autonomy, shaping risk management and commercial decisions in a dynamic, multinational environment.

Qualifications

Qualified lawyer with at least 8 years of relevant legal experience.
Experience in international infrastructure and cross-border projects.
Strong drafting and negotiation of complex agreements.
Experience with FIDIC-based contracts.

Responsibilities

Act as trusted legal advisor to BIM and Regional Investments teams on infrastructure projects.
Support investment phases including concessions, extensions, and joint ventures.
Draft, review, negotiate, and manage EPC and concession-related agreements.
Advise on risks relating to project delivery, delays, variations, and disputes.
Collaborate with regional and headquarters legal, Finance, Tax, Compliance, and external counsel.
Promote use of contract templates and risk policies; train on legal topics.
