Job summary

Itproposal is seeking a Senior LANSA Developer to join our team in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The role centers on LANSA development in IBM i / AS400 environments, with responsibilities spanning RDML/RDMLX, DB2/400, SQL, and performance optimization.

The candidate should have 8–10 years of hands-on LANSA experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently in an Agile setting. Dutch and English language skills are required.

Qualifications

8+ years of software development experience with strong LANSA expertise.
Hands-on with Visual LANSA, RDML, RDMLX, LANSA Frameworks and LANSA Repository concepts.
Experience building enterprise LANSA applications and troubleshooting existing LANSA systems.
Strong knowledge of LANSA screens, business logic, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, enhance, and maintain applications using LANSA.
Develop applications using Visual LANSA, LANSA RDML, RDMLX, LANSA Frameworks and LANSA Repository.
Develop and maintain screens, business logic, and underlying processes.
Analyze requirements and translate into LANSA solutions.
Work with IBM i / AS400 environments and DB2/400.
Troubleshoot production issues and optimize SQL queries.
Collaborate with stakeholders in an Agile environment and document solutions.
