Job summary

Adyen is looking for Mid level and Senior Java Engineers for multiple roles within our Customer Experience Solution. You will own full development—from design to production—on a high-performance, globally used platform with PostgreSQL behind the scenes.

Amsterdam-based, on-site only, you’ll tackle scale and reliability with a proactive team. Collaborate across time zones, ship quickly, and learn continuously.

Qualifications

• Experience with Java, web services, REST APIs and SQL / PostgreSQL.
• Proven ability to build high-throughput, reliable services.
• Proactive with ownership mindset and a focus on quality from a product perspective.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Team player who can involve others and value diverse viewpoints.
• Ability to evaluate tradeoffs and balance speed with technical debt.
• Enjoys working on a global product impacting millions of users daily.
• Nice to haveRabbitMQ, Kafka, Elasticsearch experience.
