Job summary

Experis zoekt een ervaren Java Developer voor een grote financiële organisatie in Amsterdam. Je werkt in een team dat verantwoordelijk is voor het leveren en bouwen van de firewall-automation service. Het team bestaat uit 15 engineers in een Agile/Scrum-omgeving.

Qualifications

• Minimaal een afgeronde bacheloropleiding
• Minimaal 4 jaar ervaring als Software Engineer
• Ervaring met Java 8+
• Ervaring met Spring Boot/Spring Cloud
• Ervaring met GIT & CI/CD pipelines
• Kennis van Reactive programming (optioneel)
• Kennis van netwerken (optioneel)
• Kennis van andere programmeertalen zoals JavaScript, C++, Python of Bash (optioneel)
• Kennis van SCRUM/AGILE/DevOps/LEAN
• Uitstekende mondelijke en schriftelijke communicatie in Engels

Responsibilities

Hier ga je werken

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer who likes to work within a big financial organization in Amsterdam. You will work within the team that is responsible for delivering and building de firewall automation service. The team consists of 15 engineers, in an Agile/Scrum environment. The organization is in the process of moving some components from JavaScript to Java microservices. You will work closely together with 2 or 3 other developers in a construction called microservice team. Which means that you will work with these peers in most of your time.
This department supports the organization on a crucial service that is the foundation of our cloud environment, and you will be part of a DevOps team are made up by highly skilled software engineers with infrastructure knowledge. The organization wants to expand this team (consists of micro teams) with excellent software development skills and accelerate the development of Java based microservices.
Besides the software developing part, you will also spend a lot of time guiding and helping developers within the team. If you love to share knowledges with your peers, proactively checking up with the teammates, helping people with the tasks, then this is a great fit for you!

Dit neem je mee

• You have at least a completed Bachelor degree;
• You have at least 4 years' experience as a Software Engineer;
• You have experience with Java 8+
• You have experience with Spring Boot/Spring Cloud;
• You have experience working with GIT & CI/CD pipelines;
• Knowledge of Reactive programming (nice to have)
• Knowledge of networking concepts (nice to have)
• Knowledge of other coding or scripting tools like JavaScript, C++, Python or Bash (nice to have)
• You have knowledge about SCRUM/AGILE/DevOps/LEAN;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
