Job summary

Unknown is seeking a Java Developer to join a large international finance organization in Amsterdam. You will design, develop and replace APIs using Java and Kotlin, and collaborate within Agile/Scrum/DevOps teams to deliver robust, scalable services.

You will also build CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and containerize environments with Kubernetes/OpenShift while guiding team members and translating user stories into code. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required.
• Minimum 4 years as a Java Developer.
• Experience developing Java RESTful APIs.
• Experience with front-end technologies (React, Vue, Angular, JS).
• Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines.
• Containerization experience (Docker, Kubernetes or OpenShift).
• Experience with test automation.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.
• Fluent English required.

You will work together with UX designers, visual designers and product owners. The team in which you will be working is responsible for developing the real time banking processes that enable customers to open, close and make changes in their current accounts. A financial organization depends on his/her customers. You can only offer a good service if everything is processed properly and with the right information, which makes this domain very important.

You are going to work in a team that believes in the DevOps way of working. As a Java Developer you are responsible for developing, testing and maintaining the API's. The team you will be joining is responsible for creating and implementing innovative solutions with a focus on mandates.
