Job summary

Experis opendeed in Amsterdam een DevOps Engineer-positie binnen een grote internationale financiële organisatie. Je werkt in een team van vijf mensen aan cloud infrastructuurdiensten en DevOps-processen volgens Agile/Scrum/DevOps, met nadruk op automatisering en continue levering.

Je configureert infrastructuur, voert tests uit en draagt bij aan kwetsbaarheid scans, risico-controles en documentatie rond releases. Engelse communicatie is vereist; werken in een internationaal team is gebruikelijk.

Qualifications

• Minimaal 2 jaar ervaring met LinuxOS.
• Minimaal 2 jaar ervaring met Azure DevOps of soortgelijke CI/CD tooling.
• Minimaal 2 jaar scriptingervaring met Python of Shell.
• Minimaal 2 jaar ervaring in configuratie en orkestratie met Ansible of vergelijkbare tooling.
• Ervaring met Kubernetes.
• Proactief, teamspeler en communicatief vaardig.
• Goede beheersing van Engels.

Responsibilities

• Verzamel vereisten van afdelingen binnen de organisatie.
• Configureer nieuwe functionaliteiten met Python/Ansible.
• Test in eigen omgeving en peer-review van tests.
• Onderhoud/ondersteuning bij klantvragen.
• Schrijf release-documenten voor wijzigingen in de infrastructuur.
• Voer kwetsbaarheids- en penetratietesten uit.
• Voer risicocontroles uit.
• Stel CI/CD-pijplijnen op.
• Containeriseer de omgeving met Kubernetes.

Are you an enthusiastic DevOps Engineer? Do you want to be a pioneer of the IT infrastructure of cloud services? Do you have experience with IT infrastructure configuration? You will enter a challenging environment where they work according to Agile/Scrum/DevOps methodologies. Your main tasks involve:

• You will gather requirements from the other departments within the organization.
• You will configure new functionalities using Python/ Ansible.
• You will test in your environment and your test will be checked by a peer.
• You will troubleshoot/ support with customer questions.
• You will write release documents for changes within the infrastructure.
• You will make vulnerability scans and perform penetration testing.
• You will perform risk controls.
• You will set up CI/CD pipelines.
• You will containerize the environment using Kubernetes.

You will work at a large international financial organization with offices located in Amsterdam. You are going to work in a team that consists of 5 people within an international environment. The team in which you will be working is responsible for developing the cloud infrastructure services for other teams within the organization.

You are going to work in a team that believes in the DevOps way of working. As a DevOps Engineer, you are responsible for configuring the infrastructure and solving any issues that arise from the already developed infrastructures.

• You have at least 2 years of experience in LinuxOS.
• You have at least 2 years of experience in Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tooling
• You have at least 2 years of experience in scripting with Python or Shell.
• You have at least 2 years of experience in configuration and orchestration with Ansible or similar tooling.
• You have experience with Kubernetes.
• You are proactive, a team player, and outspoken.
• You have attention to detail and are a good communicator.
• You speak fluent English.
