Qualifications

• 5–7 years of professional experience in backend software development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java.
• Knowledge of backend architecture and design patterns.
• Experience developing and integrating APIs and services.
• Understanding of software testing methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable and maintainable backend applications and services using Java.
• Contribute to software architecture, design patterns and engineering best practices.
• Develop and maintain APIs and backend services.
• Implement unit, integration and other relevant testing methodologies.
• Take ownership of applications throughout the complete software lifecycle.
• Monitor application performance, identify issues and implement improvements.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and perform root cause analysis (RCA).
• Support deployment and release activities.
• Contribute to coding standards, quality assurance processes and platform enhancements.
• Ensure backend services remain reliable, scalable and resilient.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within an agile and collaborative environment.
