Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in Utrecht is seeking a Senior Java and Angular Full Stack Engineer to design and deliver scalable digital solutions across industries. You will combine Java backend expertise with Angular frontend development, taking technical ownership throughout the delivery lifecycle.

You will lead teams, guide decisions, and work directly with clients to translate business needs into robust technology solutions.

Qualifications

• >8 years of professional software development experience; enterprise-grade full-stack and cloud-native solutions.
• >Strong hands-on Java with Spring Boot or Quarkus, and Angular/TypeScript.
• >Interest in AI-driven tooling and modern technologies.
• >Experience leading or guiding software teams and setting engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable full-stack apps with Java, Spring Boot/Quarkus, Angular and TypeScript.
• Lead engineering teams, set direction, review solutions, and resolve complex challenges.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to clarify requirements and communicate progress.
• Develop production-ready Angular apps and integrate with Java backends via REST and async APIs.
• Define engineering standards using DDD, SOLID, Clean Architecture; ensure quality and security.
• Shape cloud-native, event-driven solutions with Docker and Kubernetes; enhance observability.
• Mentor colleagues, promote knowledge sharing, and encourage ownership.
