Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in Utrecht seeks a Senior Java and Angular Full Stack Engineer to design and deliver scalable digital solutions for leading organisations. You will combine deep Java backend expertise with modern Angular front-end development while taking technical ownership across the delivery lifecycle.

You will guide development teams, engage directly with clients, and ensure code quality, security and maintainability.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience delivering enterprise-grade full-stack applications and cloud-native solutions.
• Deep hands-on expertise in Java and Spring Boot/Quarkus with production-ready Angular and TypeScript.
• Experience leading software engineering teams, mentoring colleagues, and setting engineering standards.
• Strong client-facing skills to translate requirements and explain technical topics clearly to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and deliver scalable full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot/Quarkus and Angular/TypeScript.
• Lead engineering teams, coordinate priorities and review solutions across delivery lifecycles.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to clarify requirements and communicate progress and risks.
• Develop production-ready Angular front-ends and integrate with Java backends via REST and async APIs.
• Define engineering standards using DDD, SOLID, Clean Architecture and secure coding practices.
• Shape cloud-native and event-driven solutions with Docker, Kubernetes and observability tooling.
• Mentor peers, promote knowledge sharing and support continuous learning, including AI-assisted coding.
