Job summary

Victrix Legion in the Netherlands seeks a software engineer with hands-on Java backend or Angular frontend experience. The role is on-site in Den Haag, requiring fluent business English and collaboration in a multinational team.

You will work with modern Java 21/Spring or Angular 20, using Git, Maven, JIRA, Jenkins, and engage with networking (TCP/IP, UDP) and messaging systems as part of the full software lifecycle.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' experience with Java backend development, using recent techniques like Java 21 and Spring
• At least 3 years' experience with Front end development in Angular, using recent version (20)
• Hands on experience with development tooling: GIT, Maven, JIRA, Jenkins
• Candidate should have experience with Networking (TCP/IP, UDP) and Messaging systems
• Experience with military Data links is preferred
• Experience with testing software using technologies and methods to support the full software lifecycle.
• Proven ability to integrate and work in a multinational team.
• The ability to conduct all work in fluent business English.
