Job summary

Red Hat BeNeLux Consulting in the Netherlands seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead IT projects from initiation to closure. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, define project economics, budgets, staffing, and risks, and promote project management discipline across services.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in IT project management, a related bachelor's degree, and strong leadership with English fluency; Dutch and EU citizenship are preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in a project management role in IT-based projects.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Knowledge of PMI, Red Hat Services PM methodologies, systems and software delivery.
• Strong leadership, communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a team and independently; motivate teams and manage conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Integrate industry and technical delivery methodologies (PMI, Red Hat PM, systems & software delivery, agile or scrum).
• Guide project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting with minimal direction.
• Manage projects while achieving utilization and revenue targets.
• Understand market trends and competitive offerings and how they relate to Red Hat solutions portfolio.
• Establish metrics for project criteria; develop control and reporting procedures; manage changes.
• Staff projects with consultants and architects based on required skills and experience.
• Assist with training the project team on procedures and processes.
• Work with management on proposals, bids, contracts, estimates, and schedules; contribute to estimation and review.
