Job summary

inventYOU IT Consulting is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to act as an external consultant and lead delivery of complex ICT projects in an international, highly regulated environment. You will manage multiple IT projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, oversee external suppliers, and ensure delivery within scope, budget, and time constraints.

Qualifications

• Minimum 9 years of professional experience in Project Management.
• 9+ years leading cross-functional and multicultural teams in international ICT projects.
• 9 years presenting complex ICT project plans and outcomes in English to executives and technical teams.
• Proven experience managing at least 5 end-to-end ICT projects including software deployments, cloud solutions, infrastructure, and/or external integrations.
• Minimum 5 years in an international environment or 2+ years within EU institutions or bodies.
• Minimum 5 years in highly regulated environments, preferably public-sector or government organizations.
• Minimum 5 years using project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project).
• Minimum 5 years in vendor management, including contract oversight and performance monitoring.
• Minimum 5 years communicating across multiple organizational levels (technical teams, management, executives).
• Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, estimation, budgeting, and resource management.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, including PowerPoint timelines.
• Strong governance, risk management, and issue escalation understanding.
• Excellent stakeholder management, reporting, and presentation skills.
• English proficiency at C1 level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Minimum 5 years of experience in an international environment OR at least 2 years within EU institutions or bodies
• Minimum 5 years of experience in highly regulated environments, preferably public-sector or government organizations
• Minimum 5 years of experience using project management tools, such as Microsoft Project
• Minimum 5 years of experience in vendor management, including contract oversight, performance monitoring, and stakeholder coordination
• Minimum 5 years of experience communicating across multiple organizational levels, including technical teams, management, and executive stakeholders
• Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, estimation, budgeting, and resource management
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint timelines and schedule visualizations
• Strong understanding of project governance, risk management, and issue escalation
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, reporting, and presentation skills
• English proficiency at C1 level or higher
• Educational qualifications appropriate to the required professional level
• Mandatory Project Management certification, such as:

Nice to Have

• Experience managing incremental software integration projects involving internal and external systems
• Knowledge of enterprise service bus (ESB) integration and third‑party service integrations
• Experience with ICT infrastructure projects, including virtual infrastructure, connectivity, and environment deployments
• Knowledge of public IT procurement and EU tendering processes
• Experience with contract management throughout the project lifecycle
