Job summary

Next Ventures in Utrecht is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead development and implementation projects with a complex technical component in a large enterprise environment.

The role requires Dutch language proficiency, experience with IT infrastructure and security products, and the ability to operate in a hybrid work setting with occasional travel within the Netherlands. Security screening is part of the process.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an effective project manager for IT assignments across the full lifecycle.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong presentation and writing skills; ability to work across functions.
• Dutch passport required and full professional proficiency in Dutch.
• Experience with government/public sector projects is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the team delivers the required deliverables (designs, products, services, and documentation) with the expected quality.
• Oversee deployment activities following a DTAP approach.
• Manage day-to-day project progress within time, quality, scope, budget, and information constraints.
• Represent the project on the client's Project Board.
• Report progress and status in FCC.
• Mentor and manage project resources and team leads.
• Provide reporting during operational meetings.
• Ensure the project remains adequately staffed.
• Coordinate with other Project Managers within the same programme.
