Job summary

ING seeks an experienced Insider Threat Security Threat Analysis Expert to design and implement ING’s new global Insider Threat programme. You will lead threat detection, UEBA, governance and stakeholder engagement within the Cyber Threat Management (CTM) team.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Security Operations, Incident Response, Fraud, IT and senior leadership across the bank. The position requires 6–10 years in cybersecurity, governance and regulatory knowledge, and strong analytical

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of experience with cybersecurity principles.
• Experience with detection tools, such as UEBA or security analytics tools.
• Knowledge of the European financial services regulatory environment.
• Experience working with HR and Legal stakeholders.
• Understanding governance, compliance and privacy frameworks.
• Strong analytical and structured thinking skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate stakeholder workshops and interviews to gather requirements.
• Support the development of policies, procedures and playbooks.
• Contribute to programme tracking, reporting and continuous improvement.
• Support the design and implementation of Insider Threat governance, including steering committees and expert groups.
• Support the development of policies and standards for the Insider Threat programme.
• Help create KPIs, risk metrics and governance reporting.
• Support evaluation and comparison of UEBA tools.
• Coordinate RFP/RFI processes, vendor demonstrations and evaluations.
• Assist in defining functional and non-functional requirements.
• Support Proof of Concept activities and the definition of evaluation criteria.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across SOC, Fraud, IT Security, Risk, Legal, HR and the Workers Council.
• Prepare executive updates, meeting materials and summaries.
• Track key actions, risks and dependencies.
• Support training and awareness activities to help employees understand relevant Insider Threat policies, risks and monitoring practices.
