SHAPE THE FUTURE OF INSIDER RISK WITH SIGNPOST SIX
At Signpost Six, we have a clear ambition: to further expand our internationally leading role as the Insider Risk expert. As geopolitical shifts continue to influence the workplace, the risks of espionage, sabotage, and subversive crime are evolving rapidly. We are looking for a specialist to help organisations mitigate these threats while contributing to our growth and ambition.
WHY SIGNPOST SIX?
Signpost Six is the trusted partner for public and private organisations across Europe, helping them protect against insider risk. Our success is built on a unique, holistic approach, the S6 Control Framework, combined with deep expertise in security, crisis management, intelligence, and criminology. We prioritise quality, innovation, and continuous development to stay ahead of emerging risks and trends.
THE ROLE
Join a high-impact team of international experts and take the lead as a Senior Insider Risk Adviser. You’ll own large-scale projects, drive insider risk assessments, and work directly with senior leadership to deliver strategic, high-quality solutions for clients. Plus, you’ll play a pivotal role in scaling our organisation’s growth and influence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and execute insider risk assessments, including threat and maturity analyses for organisations facing various threats and geopolitical landscapes.
- Design and implement robust insider risk programmes, strengthening governance, security, HR, IT, and incident management processes.
- Manage multiple projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables while engaging with senior stakeholders to align on progress and strategy.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Drive thought leadership by contributing to new propositions, publications, and trend analyses to inform clients and the public.
- Stay ahead of the curve: expand your expertise on insider risk management and geopolitical developments through training, research, and networking.
ARE YOU OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE?
- Bring 4-7 years of work experience, with at least 2 years in client management stakeholder engagement, or strategic planning.
- Hold a degree in geopolitics, intelligence, cybersecurity, psychology, risk management, IT or a related field (your skills and drive matter more than your specific background).
- Have an IT foundation, ideally with experience in cybersecurity, access control, or monitoring tools.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Dutch fluency is advantageous).
- Excel in coaching and teamwork, with a knack for mentoring and fostering high-performance cultures.
- Adapt effortlessly to change, analyse complex situations, and spot the bigger picture.
- Are solution-focused, ambitious, and energised by tackling complex challenges in small, agile teams.
WHAT WE OFFER
- A competitive salary package, including pension contributions and an annual 13th-month salary.
- Travel reimbursement to support your commute to and from our office in The Hague.
- A modern workplace close to the Central Station, with flexibility for hybrid working.
- Fresh lunch provided in the office twice a week, plus a well-stocked kitchen with snacks, coffee, and drinks.
- The opportunity to work on meaningful challenges that help organisations strengthen resilience against insider threats and security risks.
- A collaborative and ambitious team culture where you'll work alongside experts from diverse backgrounds in security, psychology, intelligence, and risk.
- All the technology, tools, and resources you need to excel in your role and continue growing your expertise.
