Job summary

TWD in Rotterdam seeks a Senior Infra & Security Engineer to own and improve our IT infrastructure, security, and operations across offices. You work with a small IT team and external partners to build a reliable, future‑proof environment and to grow toward IT Lead.

You will focus on networks, Microsoft 365, access management and cybersecurity, with Defender and Intune as key tools. English fluency is required, Dutch a plus, and you’ll collaborate across departments while improving processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field
• 3–5 years IT infrastructure and network management experience
• Practical knowledge of networks, firewalls and switches
• Experience with Microsoft 365, workplace management and IAM
• Knowledge of cybersecurity and secure system management; Defender/Intune is a bonus
• Experience with project coordination, guiding colleagues or managing vendors is a plus
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus

Responsibilities

• Manage and improve networks and infrastructure across all offices
• Analyse incidents and configuration issues with colleagues
• Monitor availability, capacity and security; follow up on actions
• Improve cybersecurity with Defender, Intune and secure access management
• Handle security alerts/incidents with partners and audits
• Govern identities and access rights per IAM policy
• Provide support and create clear processes with IT colleagues
• Lead technical improvement projects end-to-end
• Manage vendors on the technical side; contribute to licences and renewals
• Share knowledge with colleagues
