Job summary

Dott is seeking an Indirect Tax Manager for its Amsterdam HQ to own the indirect tax function across the group. The role focuses on Dutch and EU VAT, customs, and cross-border transaction guidance in a fast-growing international business.

You will collaborate with finance, legal, and operations, drive VAT compliance, and lead process improvements while building strong relationships with external advisors and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 10 years of relevant experience in a multinational environment
• Strong knowledge of Dutch VAT and EU VAT rules and cross-border transactions
• Experience with VAT compliance and reporting incl B2B and B2C e-invoicing

Responsibilities

• Advise on VAT treatment of domestic and cross-border transactions
• Support business in e-invoicing and reporting developments across countries
• Design and implement VAT-efficient structures for international operations
• Provide VAT support to internal stakeholders and build VAT awareness
• Coordinate with the VAT team in Poland for compliance filings
• Lead setup and improvement of VAT processes and documentation in Netsuite
• Liaise with tax authorities and support audits
• Monitor EU VAT developments and translate into guidance
• Collaborate with external advisors on complex VAT matters
