Job summary

Return, a leading European independent energy storage provider, seeks a Senior IFRS Reporting & Transition Specialist to drive the Dutch GAAP to IFRS transition across the group. You will translate IFRS requirements into practical policies and ensure governance with finance teams and auditors.

You will manage the transition plan, implement reporting templates and controls, and establish a sustainable IFRS framework for ongoing financial reporting across international entities.

Qualifications

• Deep IFRS technical expertise and experience delivering group accounting policies.
• Experience with IFRS implementation or GAAP conversion projects in a multi-entity international setting.
• Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead IFRS gap analysis between Dutch GAAP and IFRS and define transition adjustments.
• Develop Group IFRS accounting policies and position papers.
• Design local GAAP to IFRS reporting and coordinate consolidation and disclosures.
• Own the IFRS transition plan, milestones, risks and deliverables.
• Coordinate with local finance teams and external auditors for smooth implementation and ongoing reporting.
