Job summary

Cover Genius is seeking a Financial Accounting/Reporting Manager to prepare IFRS statutory statements, coordinate with external auditors, and manage audit documentation for European entities beginning with the Netherlands. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to deliver supporting files, strengthen controls, and improve risk posture.

You will engage with internal teams to ensure timely audit responses, develop technical memos, and support process improvements across financial operations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in financial reporting, with strong IFRS emphasis.
• 3+ years of industry experience.
• Familiarity with IFRS in tech/insurance environments preferred.
• Experience preparing financial statements, disclosures, and memos for global or multi-entity setups.
• Prior NetSuite experience and familiarity with reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits and reviews, providing memos, schedules and documentation.
• Respond to audit requests promptly with necessary materials and disclosures.
• Collaborate with FP&A on forecasts related to impairment, going concern, etc.; explain financial statements to auditors.
