Job summary

Williams Companies, Inc. in Zwolle, NL is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Electrical Operations Technician II-Sr. to maintain gas processing equipment and control systems. You will lead troubleshooting, safety improvements, and major system upgrades while mentoring teammates.

The role requires hands-on expertise in instrumentation, electrical systems, and PLCs, with flexibility for after-hours work and travel between Williams locations as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least 3 years in operations, engineering, or energy.
• Preferred: technical degree and 5+ years experience in I&E and energy operations.
• Experience with PLC systems and automation support is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex maintenance on gas process equipment and systems.
• Minimize unplanned shutdowns via root cause analyses and corrective actions.
• Partner with supervisors to share findings and improve safety.
• Maintain/repair instrumentation, electrical, PLC, and control systems.
• Lead system upgrades and commissioning with adherence to standards.
• Mentor technicians and drive continuous improvement in instrumentation and automation.
