Job summary

Rambus is hiring a HW/SW Engineer to join the Design Automation team in Hillsboro, OR. You will develop front end design automation flows and support a global Digital IP development team in a full-time, hybrid role.

You’ll work with a world-class team to build and maintain tools that automate verification, lint, synthesis, and packaging processes. Strong programming and EDA tool automation experience are essential.

Qualifications

BS or MS degree in electrical or computer engineering or closely related degree; substantial, relevant work experience may substitute.
5–10 years of HW/SW engineering experience.
Proficiency with object-oriented programming methodologies.
Proficiency with SystemVerilog, Verilog.
Proficiency with Python, Tcl, Perl, and Bash.
Understanding of CDC and RDC concepts.
Experience creating automation for front end design EDA tools.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Develop tools and automation to support front end verification, lint, synthesis and package generation.
Collaborate with Design Automation, Verification and Development teams to solve problems and build solutions.
Provide support to our global engineering organization.
