Job summary

Cepheid, part of Danaher, is seeking a Senior HR Generalist for Northern Europe based in Amsterdam on-site. You will resolve sensitive HR matters, liaise with HR Service Delivery, and support policy harmonization across multiple countries.

Fluency in German and English, 5+ years in HR operations, and a degree in HR or related field are required. Experience with HRIS and case management is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in HR operations, shared services, employee relations support, or HR generalist role.
• Fluent German and English; experience supporting multiple countries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Resolve sensitive, escalated HR cases across employee lifecycle and policy interpretation.
• Advise people leaders on documentation, process requirements, risk, and next steps within policies and governance.
• Coordinate with HR Service Delivery, People Partners, HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and Legal resources for end-to-end resolution.
