Qualifications

• Master's degree in Legal, Economics, Regulatory Affairs or equivalent professional training in healthcare compliance.
• Around 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in the Netherlands.
• Strong healthcare compliance knowledge and ability to advise the business.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Strong business acumen and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of business processes and stakeholder needs.
• Ability to explain complex compliance/legal topics clearly.
• Proactive, structured, and adaptable working style.
• Comfortable working independently and cross-functionally.
• Strong project leadership skills.
• Advisory mindset with a constructive, questioning approach.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of a risk-based compliance programme for Human Pharma.
• Advise the Local Leadership Team on compliance status and key risks.
• Provide proactive healthcare compliance guidance across relevant risk areas.
• Partner with the local business to anticipate legal/regulatory changes and translate them into practical guidance.
• Contribute to MIDI Compliance activities, including risk assessments and action plans.
• Manage internal investigations related to Healthcare Compliance Human Pharma.
• Build external networks (e.g. industry associations) and maintain internal compliance connections.
• Support transparency reporting, including transfer-of-value reviews and SOP maintenance.
• Ensure active compliance information flow and reporting within MIDI.
• Optimize, update and train the organisation on relevant local Medical / Healthcare Compliance related procedures.
