Job summary

Amaris Consulting is seeking an Electronics Engineer to be embedded in a high-tech medical systems environment. You will define hardware requirements, design and test non-graphical UI hardware, and collaborate across engineering, quality, and procurement to drive product success.

The role emphasizes hands-on laboratory investigations, rigorous testing, and clear communication with multidisciplinary teams and external suppliers.,Aiming to support medical device safety and lifecycle management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years in electronics engineering or product development.
• Experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining electronic products.
• Hands-on experience with non-graphical user interfaces and electronic subsystems.
• Strong lab, test setup, and data analysis capabilities.
• Clear communication across multidisciplinary teams and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Define technical requirements for non-graphical UI hardware at system, subsystem, and unit levels.
• Translate performance needs and feedback into engineering requirements and improvements.
• Evaluate supplier designs, identify gaps, and follow up on improvements.
• Build test setups and perform feasibility, functional, and reliability testing.
• Analyze test data to support engineering decisions and product changes.
• Investigate issues, identify root causes, and propose corrective actions.
• Conduct risk and safety assessments considering reliability and compliance.
• Coordinate with mechanical, quality, compliance, purchasing, and project teams throughout development.
