Job summary

Amaris Consulting is seeking a Hardware Product Development Consultant to join a high-tech medical systems project in Best, Netherlands. You will design, test, and maintain non-graphical UI hardware, owning units from concept through product support in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

You bring 5+ years in electronics engineering, hands-on lab experience, and a proven track record in hardware design, testing, and risk assessment within safety-sensitive environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years of relevant electronics engineering experience.
• Proven experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining electronic products post-release.

Responsibilities

• Define technical requirements for non-graphical UI hardware at system, subsystem, and unit level.
• Translate performance needs and field feedback into engineering requirements and design improvements.
• Assess supplier designs and prototypes and drive follow-up actions.
• Build test setups and perform feasibility, functional, performance, and reliability testing.
• Analyze test data to support engineering decisions and product changes.
• Investigate issues, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Perform risk and safety assessments with focus on reliability and compliance.
• Coordinate with multiple teams throughout the development process.
