Job summary

Amaris Consulting is seeking an Experienced Embedded Software Consultant (C++:17) to design and implement embedded software for real-time medical imaging and connected care devices. You will drive the full software lifecycle from requirements to release, work with systems, hardware, QA and regulatory teams, and contribute to design reviews.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in software or computer science, 6+ years of embedded MCU experience, strong C++, SOLID principles, and ISO

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in software/CS or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of embedded software development on resource-constrained MCUs.
• C/C++ with SOLID principles and industry-standard testing approaches.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum and end-to-end embedded projects.
• Familiarity with quality standards ISO 13485 and IEC 62304.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize embedded software for medical imaging and connected care devices.
• Drive full software lifecycle: requirements, architecture, design, testing, release.
• Ensure compliance with quality norms and participate in design/code reviews.
• Develop automated unit/integration tests and ensure traceability.
• Collaborate with systems, hardware, QA, and regulatory teams in an Agile/Scrum setup.
• Produce clear documentation for software, interfaces, and test assets.
