Job summary

Brightlyn is seeking a Senior Security & Compliance Consultant in The Hague. You will lead technical security assessments, work hands-on with engineers and architects, and translate regulatory requirements into concrete technical measures across DORA and NIS2 topics.

You will build data-driven dashboards from CMDBs, asset inventories, and IAM data, collaborating with clients in finance, public, and critical sectors to protect resilience.

Qualifications

• Strong background in IT security, risk, and compliance.
• Hands-on knowledge of backup/recovery and IAM.
• Experience with data-driven security dashboards.
• Ability to translate regulations into concrete technical measures.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and boardroom presenting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical security and risk assessments in complex IT environments.
• Interview engineers and admins on real security implementations.
• Analyze CMDBs, asset inventories, and IAM data; build dashboards.
• Own DORA topics end to end for financial entities.
• Perform ransomware quick assessments and guide protection measures.
• Develop new security, risk, and compliance services.
• Present insights to engineers and executives; train sessions.
• Monitor trends like sovereign cloud strategies.
