Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL, Dutch Branch seeks an experienced Specialist Solutions Architect with a focus on AI/ML/GenAI to help customers design scalable cloud architectures. AWS Specialist Solutions Architects (SSAs) are technologists with deep domain-specific expertise, able to address advanced concepts and feature designs. As part of the AWS sales organization, SSAs work with customers who have complex challenges that require expert-level knowledge to solve. SSAs craft scalable, flexible, and resilient technical architectures that address those challenges. This might involve guiding customers as they refactor an application or designing entirely new cloud-based system

Specialist SAs play a critical role in capturing customer feedback, advocating for roadmap enhancements, and anticipating customer requirements as they work backwards from their needs. As domain experts, SSAs also participate in field engagement and enablement, producing content such as whitepapers, blogs, and workshops for customers, partners, and the AWS Technical Field.

AI/ML/GenAI Specialist Solutions Architects combine technical skills in AI/ML/GenAI business acumen, and technical sales skills. They are focused on supporting customers throughout the engagement lifecycle and work closely with the teams that support implementation including AWS Professional Services and Partners. SSAs unblock customers and help them get to production faster. Basic Qualifications

• Experience with customer relationship management, especially C-suite level customer engagement


• 7+ years design/implementation/consulting experience of distributed applications


• 5+ years management of technical, customer facing resources


• 5+ years of design/implementation of production AI/ML/GenAI/Agentic systems including integration of LLMs/multi-modal FMs in large scale systems, fine-tuning LLMs, deployment and distributed inference of LLMs, RAG, FM evaluation, Vector DBs, Agentic workflows, prompt/context engineering, and/or AIOps.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent


• 7+ years of Solutions Architecture (or equivalent) experience with deep expertise in machine learning, generative AI, MLOps, data for AI, and responsible AI principles.


• Proven ability to influence at C-level and anticipate future state of technology and service gaps


• Track record of driving transformational AI initiatives with programmatic scale mechanisms across multiple industries and geographies, and strong understanding of EMEA regulatory landscape and cloud-native architectures at scale.


• Able to effectively communicate across an increasing diversity of audiences internally and externally
