Job summary

PandaDoc is hiring a Senior Design Engineer to bridge design and frontend engineering. You will prototype AI-native ideas in production-grade React, own key Growth surfaces end-to-end, and set the bar for AI-assisted output while building toolchains for rapid delivery.

The role emphasizes delivering quality at speed, leveraging Cursor and Claude Code, and shaping how this new function operates as the first hire in it.

Qualifications

• Strong experience across design and front-end engineering with shipped interfaces.
• Portfolio demonstrating production-grade UI components.
• Fluency in React, TypeScript, and modern CSS.
• Active use of Cursor and Claude Code in workflow.
• Ability to define quality standards for AI-assisted output.

Responsibilities

• Prototype AI-native ideas in code and ship production-grade React surfaces.
• Own end-to-end surfaces including layout, interaction, motion, and accessibility.
• Define and raise the quality ceiling for AI-powered output.
• Extend AI-enabled tools and patterns for the team.
• Lead problem framing and drive from concept to launch.
