Job summary

Amaris Consulting is seeking a Graphics Processing Unit Consultant to join a high‑tech innovation environment, embedding in GPU‑accelerated software for healthcare systems and advanced digital processing applications.

You will design, develop, and improve C++ and CUDA solutions for workloads such as image reconstruction, signal processing, 3D rendering, simulation, and AI inference across the full software lifecycle from prototypes to production‑ready components for high‑throughput, low‑latency

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of high-performance software experience for embedded, scientific, industrial or healthcare applications.
• Strong C++ and OO design, with modern patterns and quality practices.
• Deep CUDA/GPU programming knowledge, kernel design and memory hierarchy.
• Experience with GPU performance analysis tools (Nsight).
• Knowledge of signal/image processing, numerical methods, or scientific computing.
• Experience with embedded compute platforms and hardware–software co‑design.
• Familiarity with structured processes and Git-based workflows.
• Excellent written and spoken communication with international teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver high‑performance C++ and CUDA software for GPU-based processing applications.
• Translate signal and image processing, modelling and AI algorithms into efficient GPU implementations.
• Profile GPU workloads and identify bottlenecks in memory, bandwidth, occupancy, and CPU‑GPU transfers.
• Improve algorithms and CUDA kernels through parallelisation, vectorisation, and kernel fusion.
• Tune processing pipelines to meet latency, throughput, and numerical accuracy requirements.
• Define hardware‑software partitions with FPGA, electronics, firmware, systems, and AI engineers.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, reviews, verification, and production delivery.
• Document designs, performance results, and integration constraints across the product lifecycle.
