Job summary

Stream HPC BV in Amsterdam, Netherlands, designs performance‑driven software for clients worldwide, focusing on GPUs and CPUs. You will work on HPC projects, using CUDA, HIP, SYCL, OpenCL and MPI to solve complex scientific problems.

Candidates should have 3–4 years of CPU/GPU experience, strong C++, GPU kernel coding, and excellent English. This is a hybrid, international team; commuting to the Lelylaan office two days a week is expected.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience with CPU and GPUs.
• Proficiency in C++ and starting projects from scratch.
• Experience writing GPU kernel code.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Understanding of coding and data streams for CPUs/GPUs.
• Knowledge of HPC and GPGPU tech such as CUDA, HIP, SYCL, OpenCL, MPI.
• Ability to work in a hybrid, international setting.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Willingness to commute to Lelylaan office 2 days a week.
• Familiarity with project management principles is a plus.
• BSc, MSc, PhD or equivalent in CS/Engineering/Physics or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance software using HPC and GPU technologies such as CUDA, HIP, SYCL, OpenCL, and MPI.
• Build software and libraries, from design to delivery.
• Designing and implementing parallel algorithms.
• Collaborate with team members to understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions.
• Optimize code and data streams to maximize performance on GPUs and CPUs.
• Participate in project management activities, ensuring efficient problem-solving and project delivery.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay updated with technological advancements.
