Job summary

Sytac BV in the Netherlands is seeking a hands-on Software Developer to strengthen our engineering team. You’ll design, build, and operate backend services with a focus on Go and Kubernetes within a mature DevOps environment.

You’ll own end-to-end delivery, collaborate in an agile team, and contribute to reliable, scalable production systems. Nice-to-have Python, Apache Airflow, and XBRL experience.

Qualifications

• Strong, hands-on experience as a backend software developer.
• Solid experience with Go (Golang).
• Experience with enterprise application integrations.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes-based applications.
• Experience at the intersection of application development and infrastructure.
• Comfortable managing and operating production systems.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving mindset.
• Experience with VS Code or JetBrains IDEs.
• Able to manage and optimize the full development toolchain.
• Comfortable owning applications end-to-end in production.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services with a strong focus on Go (Golang).
• Work on a complex, existing application within an enterprise technology stack.
• Build and maintain integrations and connectivity with other internal applications.
• Develop, deploy, and operate applications running on Kubernetes.
• Create, maintain, and optimize Helm charts.

• Actively contribute to improving code quality, stability, and performance.

You’ll work within a DevOps team on a complex, business-critical platform that sits at the intersection of application development and Kubernetes-based infrastructure.

This is ahands-on engineering role not a lead or management position.
