Job summary

Eco-Movement, part of Dow Jones, is a leading platform for EV charge point location and pricing data. You will design, test, and build new functionalities for our OCPI-based API serving clients worldwide.

As a software engineer, you will help transition backend services from PHP to Go, ensure data integrity, performance and security, and collaborate with a global, hybrid team based in Utrecht with a strong emphasis on ownership and measurable impact.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience with Go or PHP.
• Experience with testing and code maintainability.
• Familiarity with PHP is a nice-to-have during the transition.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, and build new functionalities for the OCPI-based location data platform.
• Help transition backend services from PHP to Go while maintaining performance and security.
• Collaborate with a global team and contribute to architecture decisions.
