Job summary

Eco-Movement, part of Dow Jones, seeks a software engineer to design, test, and build Go-based features for validated location data of charging stations. The role focuses on evolving a foundational OCPI-based API, with PHP experience welcomed as a plus, and maintaining data integrity, performance, and security.

You will report to the Team Lead of the Locations team and collaborate across a fast‑growing, international group.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• At least 2 years hands-on Go or PHP (Laravel) development.

Responsibilities

• Rebuild critical components of our systems to transition from PHP to Go.
• Upgrade and maintain internal tools to improve data validation workflows.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve product, architecture, and security, and influence the technical roadmap.
