Job summary

Bezos is seeking a senior software engineer to own core services end-to-end within a fast-growing, AI-native environment. You’ll work on scalable Go/React microservices in a serverless cloud setup on AWS, mentor engineers, and help shape technical decisions while leveraging AI tools daily.

You’ll report to the Head of Engineering, enjoy a remote-first team with occasional in-person meetups, and thrive in a product-focused, fast-moving startup culture that values ownership and practical impact.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a senior software engineering role or equivalent startup experience.
• Deep Go expertise or strong systems background with the drive to master Go quickly.
• Extensive experience with AWS, event-driven architecture and serverless infrastructure like AWS Lambda.
• Fluent designing and building RESTful APIs with microservice/serverless architectures.
• AI-native mindset and experience using AI-powered dev tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot).

Responsibilities

• Own core services end-to-end from design to deployment and monitoring.
• Mentor other engineers through code reviews and design discussions.
• Build scalable, secure services and APIs in a serverless cloud environment (Go/React).
• Foster an AI-driven engineering culture and improve development workflows.
