Job summary

Maersk seeks a Senior Capex Controller to shape global capital investments within the Business Finance & FP&A function. You will own global CAPEX planning, forecasting, and performance management, partnering with Finance, Asset Management, Procurement, Engineering, Investments, and terminal leadership.

You will set global investment standards, provide leaders with consistent insights for strategic decision-making, and report to the CFO.

Qualifications

Continuous improvement mindset and ability to drive change across multiple functions.
Strong leadership with a track record of delivering results and cross-functional influence.
Finance/Accounting education with advanced qualifications preferred (MBA/MSc/ACCA).
7+ years of experience in FP&A, Controlling, or related areas in international settings.

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain global CAPEX standards for planning, reporting, and governance.
Own the annual CAPEX budget cycle and CAPEX components of the five-year plan.
Lead global CAPEX forecasting and provide timely expenditure visibility.
Drive long-term investment planning leveraging asset replacement cycles and business priorities.
Own the CAPEX performance management framework with monthly/quarterly reviews.
