Job summary

Monex Europa S.L is seeking an experienced FX Trader in Amsterdam to execute client orders in FX Spot, Forwards, and Options, and to hedge positions with banking counterparties. You will liaise with clients, provide expert advice, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

The role requires a strong background in FX markets, KYC, risk management, and fluency in English; French or other European language skills are a plus. Join a global team with a focus on integrity and client service.

Qualifications

Experience in a regulated investment firm.
Proven track record with French clients.
Senior level experience in a commercial environment.
Strong knowledge of markets.
Strong knowledge of the FX regulatory environment.
Clear understanding of risk management and compliance in regulated settings.
Extensive knowledge of FX markets.
MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Databases – FXDB (In House).
Bloomberg Trading systems (Barx, Arena, GS Portal).
HR Systems – Workday.
English language (spoken and written) is mandatory.
French language is highly desirable; other European languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

Understanding market conditions and factors relevant to client trading.
Knowing Your Customer (KYC) to deliver suitable products and onboard clients
Maintaining knowledge of economic climate and its impact on Monex and clients
Understanding and managing market, counterparty and operational risk
Executing client orders with integrity and high service standards
Recording and maintaining trading activity logs per Monex policy
Liaising with Sales and other departments to support client relations
Contributing to business development to meet client needs and industry standards
