Job summary

M. Restart is seeking a Senior Functional Safety Engineer to support a client in the floating production industry. The role focuses on safety-focused design, complying with international codes and industry standards.

You will lead or contribute to functional safety analyses (SIL/LOPA), coordinate with vendors and EPC teams, and guide other engineers. Offshore experience and EPC project background are highly valued.

Qualifications

10–15 years of experience in Oil & Gas Industry.
Experience in functional safety related analysis & studies required.
EPC projects experience; offshore preferred; background I&E/ICSS.

Responsibilities

Select methods and procedures to meet specifications with compliance to codes and standards.
Plan and deliver activities within time and budget and manage interfaces.
Ensure scope of work meets contractual and SBM requirements.
Apply lessons learnt and manage change across project boundaries.
Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors and third parties.
May act as Responsible Engineer for functional safety analyses conducted by third parties.
May lead other engineers or act as Discipline Lead.
