Job summary

JBT Marel is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to lead design and implementation of software modules for industrial food processing machines. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable software within an Agile Scrum environment.

You will mentor engineers, drive high‑quality code, and contribute to architecture decisions while supporting product releases and customer trainings. Strong OA and English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or similar, or comparable work experience.
• Experience with .NET and Docker.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and Git.
• Experience in designing, developing, and implementing large software solutions with object-oriented programming languages, in combination with .NET software development.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and good understanding of database operations.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of co-workers, stakeholders, and customers.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal).
• Willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and testing of innovative software modules and features.
• Optimize existing software solutions and design next gen software solutions for the food processing industry.
• Analyze requirements and write design specifications for software modules and software features.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team collaboration.
• Collaborate with multiple internal teams to ensure system architecture is implemented and tested.
• Occasionally support product releases and training on customer sites.
• Train and mentor Software Engineers and Associate Software Engineers.
• Contribute to team collaboration and build team spirit.
• Work in an Agile Scrum environment focused on collaboration, speed, and customer value.
