Job summary

Xcelirate is seeking a seasoned Full-Stack Dev with strong PHP and JavaScript experience to own end-to-end development across backend and frontend layers. You’ll tackle legacy fixes, build new features, and keep applications fast, secure, and scalable.

You’ll work with modern stacks, contribute to automated testing, and participate in architectural discussions. The role emphasizes independence, ownership, and practical problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years working with frontend frameworks/libraries like Vue.js, React, Nuxt, or Next.js
• 12+ years of web application development experience
• Deep understanding of scalable web architectures
• Familiarity with infrastructure automation with Ansible/Terraform
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Passion for automated testing (unit/integration/e2e) and TDD
• Knowledge of agile development tools and practices
• Strong PHP development expertise with at least one framework (Symfony, Zend)
• Strong web security knowledge (encryption, authentication, authorization)
• Experience deploying and scaling apps in cloud environments (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud)

Responsibilities

• Build new features and improve existing ones across our platforms
• Refactor and enhance applications to keep them performant, scalable, and maintainable
• Write tests (unit, integration, and end-to-end) to ensure software reliability
• Be involved in every phase of the software lifecycle, from ideation to deployment
• Participate in deep technical discussions and shape our applications and infrastructure
• Get hands-on with all elements of the stack, from backend logic to frontend interactions
• Identify inefficiencies and help streamline workflows, reducing unnecessary work
• Take ownership of your work, delivering high-quality, maintainable solutions
