Job summary

NN Bank’s Shared Business Services (SBS) team is seeking a freelance software engineer to help build and expand critical services using a modern stack (Node.js, TypeScript, AWS). The role involves working on green-field and existing applications, with a focus on security, compliance, and scalable design.

You will work in a small team, spending Monday at The Hague office and Wednesday at Rotterdam, in a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software development and full-stack capabilities.
• Proficient with TypeScript and Node.js in serverless/AWS environments.
• Experience building secure, compliant cloud solutions and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Create new solutions and expand functionality in pre-existing applications using Node.js, TypeScript and AWS.
• Ensure compliance and security controls are implemented and documented.
• Operate in product discovery, system design, and end-to-end software development activities, including monitoring and operations.
