Job summary

Huxley seeks an interim professional to design and deliver end-to-end data solutions for energy trading, including scalable ingestion pipelines, ETL workflows, and data models. You will collaborate with engineers, quants and traders to enable portfolio management, market analytics and algorithmic trading.

The role focuses on producing reliable, scalable and maintainable data solutions, with handover packages and documentation to empower responsible teams after completion.

Qualifications

• Experience with building scalable ingestion pipelines and ETL workflows.
• Ability to design production-ready data solutions for energy and market data.
• Knowledge of data governance, reliability, performance, and data quality standards.
• Ability to collaborate with engineers, quants, and traders.

Responsibilities

• Document and deliver a scalable ingestion design for energy/market data sources.
• Develop and test data pipelines meeting reliability, performance, data quality, and governance standards.
• Create efficient data models supporting portfolio management, analytics, modelling, and trading use cases.
• Provide operational databases/interfaces usable by trading data teams.
• Prepare handover docs, including tests, deployment instructions, monitoring and improvements.
