Job summary

Engaige in Utrecht, The Netherlands, is hiring a Senior software engineer to own features end to end—from ideation and design through code, rollout, and success metrics. You will sit with customers to understand needs and ship solutions yourself or with a small team.

You'll work on improving the self-learning loop of our AI support platform, measure resolution rates and answer quality, and build integrations across Shopify, Gorgias, Zendesk and more.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and shipping software, preferably at a startup.
• Full-stack experience across backend and frontend.
• Experience with building and evaluating ML-powered features.
• Customer service or CX/ecommerce software background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own features end to end from ideation to rollout and metrics.
• Collaborate with customers to define needs and ship solutions.
• Build with Claude Code, Cursor and Codex; work with integrations.
• Improve self-learning loop of the AI support platform and measure outcomes.
