Job summary

Catawiki is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer in Amsterdam to help build impactful product experiences for buyers, sellers, and internal teams. You’ll collaborate with Backend, iOS, Android, QA, UX, and Product Management to deliver beautiful, scalable web frontends on top of microservices.

Proficiency with TypeScript, ReactJS, and modern frontend tooling is essential. You’ll own frontend features, ensure accessibility and performance, and work in a hybrid setup with two days in the Amsterdam

Qualifications

Extensive frontend experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and a strong portfolio.
Strong web foundations: HTML, CSS, HTTP, caching, CDNs.
Modern frontend tooling: ReactJS, NextJS, Redux, CSS Modules, Tailwind.

Responsibilities

Build impactful frontend experiences across buyers, sellers, and internal teams.
Create adaptable web frontends on top of scalable microservices.
Deliver responsive, accessible experiences across devices.
Improve performance by measuring and optimizing systems.
Collaborate with Product Managers and UX Designers on experiments.
Work with engineers, QA, design, and product colleagues for scalable solutions.
