Job summary

HireWorklin is seeking a senior frontend engineer to lead the architecture of our core marketplace frontend built with React and TypeScript. You will own performance, accessibility, and the premium feel of every interaction across marketplace, dashboards, and public pages.

Responsibilities include designing reusable components, implementing a scalable design system, and collaborating with Product Design to convert Figma mocks into pixel-perfect, responsive interfaces.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional React/TypeScript experience.
• Strong CSS (Grid, Flexbox, container queries) and responsive design.
• Experience with state management libraries and data-fetching patterns.

What you'll do

• Architect and maintain the React/TypeScript frontend powering the HireWorklin_ marketplace, dashboards, and public pages.
• Design and implement reusable component libraries and a scalable design system with consistent tokens, spacing, and typography.
• Collaborate closely with Product Design to translate high-fidelity Figma mockups into pixel-perfect, responsive interfaces.
• Optimise Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP, CLS) and bundle sizes to ensure sub-second page loads.
• Write integration and unit tests, participate in code reviews, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience building production React applications with TypeScript.
• Deep understanding of modern CSS (Grid, Flexbox, container queries, view transitions) and responsive design.
• Experience with state management libraries (Zustand, Redux, or Jotai) and data-fetching patterns (React Query, SWR).
• Familiarity with Vite, Rollup/Rolldown, or similar modern bundlers and build tooling.
• Strong eye for design, motion, and micro-interactions; you care about the details users feel but can't name.

Nice to have

• Experience with Supabase, Firebase, or similar BaaS platforms.
• Contributions to open-source design systems or component libraries.
• Background in marketplace or two-sided platform products.
