Job summary

EN-ERGO seeks an experienced FPGA engineer to own complete lifecycles, from architecture to deployment, for national security projects. Candidates must hold EU citizenship due to security constraints and visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on FPGA design and implementation experience.
  • VHDL/Verilog, modern FPGA toolchains, and digital design fundamentals.
  • Real-time signal processing and RF system integration.
  • Familiarity with Python-based HDL frameworks and C/C++ real-time embedded programming.
  • M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Architect, implement, and verify high-reliability FPGA logic for critical operational environments.
  • Spearhead dedicated firmware workstreams and manage technical deliverables.
  • Formulate comprehensive test suites, bench validation setups, and technical specifications.
  • Partner with cross-functional hardware and software engineers to ensure projects hit performance targets schedule-wise and budget-wise.
  • Contribute to cross-domain system integration (hardware/embedded software) based on technical background.

Job description

Join an agile, specialized team creating next-generation technological solutions for national security and defense. We are seeking an experienced engineer to own complete FPGA lifecycles, from early architecture to final deployment. Due to security clearance constraints inherent to defense projects, candidates must hold EU citizenship. We are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.

We are looking for someone with:
  • 5+ years of hands-on FPGA design and implementation experience.
  • VHDL/Verilog, modern FPGA toolchains, and digital design fundamentals.
  • Real-time signal processing and RF system integration.
  • Familiarity with Python-based HDL frameworks and C/C++ real-time embedded programming.
  • M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent combination of industry experience and demonstrated expertise.
Main responsibilities:
  • Architect, implement, and verify high-reliability FPGA logic for critical operational environments.
  • Spearhead dedicated firmware workstreams and manage technical deliverables.
  • Formulate comprehensive test suites, bench validation setups, and technical specifications.
  • Partner with cross-functional hardware and software engineers to ensure projects hit performance targets schedule-wise and budget-wise.
  • Contribute to cross-domain system integration (hardware/embedded software) based on technical background.
  • Salary up to 7000€/month based on experience.
  • Annual vacation allowance, performance bonuses, dynamic profit-sharing scheme, and a structured company pension program.
