Job summary

AMARIS GROUP SA is seeking an experienced FPGA Designer in Eindhoven to lead the development of complex digital systems from concept to delivery. The role spans requirements analysis, architecture design, implementation, verification and integration.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on VHDL/Verilog experience, and a background in safety-critical environments such as medical, aerospace, or automotive. Proficiency with Vivado and AMD/Xilinx devices is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on experience with VHDL and/or Verilog for FPGA design.
• Proven background in safety‑or quality‑critical environments is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on FPGA firmware requirements and test specifications.
• Perform end-to-end FPGA design using HDLs, including clock/reset management and I/O planning.
• Develop and execute test strategies, simulations, and lead integration to validate functionality and performance.
• Produce detailed design descriptions, review reports, test plans, and release records.
