Job summary
PACCAR's HV Power Distribution team in Eindhoven seeks a Senior Design Engineer to help shape the next generation of Battery Electric Commercial vehicles. You will own power distribution modules, cables, and connectors, and collaborate across powertrain and vehicle teams to define architecture, safety concepts, and system integration.
The role involves requirements specification, supplier coordination, design reviews, and hands-on commissioning with travel to PACCAR locations in the Netherlands,
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Engineering Physics.
- 5+ years of professional engineering experience with electric powertrains.
- Strong technical knowledge, analytical capability, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Create and refine Technical Requirement Specifications for the electric powertrain system and components.
- Support integration of ePowertrain components into vehicle architecture and manage interfaces.
- Develop new Corporate Standards for HV vehicles.
- Keep abreast of emerging technologies through universities, labs, and suppliers.
- Manage end-to-end delivery of ePowertrain deliverables to meet milestones.
- Lead rapid resolution of design and production issues and prioritize tickets.
