Job summary

Atos Group in the Netherlands is seeking a seasoned Data Architect to design enterprise data models, define data platforms, and architect scalable data pipelines. You will work with data engineers, analysts and scientists, translate business needs into technical solutions, and ensure governance, quality, security and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data roles, with at least 4 years in data architecture.
• Strong knowledge of modern data architectures (Lakehouse, Data Mesh).
• Experience with cross-functional teams of data engineers, analysts and scientists.
• Excellent communication bridging technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Hands-on with data tooling: Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks; Python, SQL; dbt; cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Dutch and English fluency.

Responsibilities

• Design conceptual, enterprise, and logical data models across domains.
• Define and select data platform technologies (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks).
• Architect scalable data pipelines using SQL, Python, dbt.
• Align data architecture with enterprise systems and migrations.
• Collaborate on ML and AI architecture for advanced analytics.
• Integrate governance tools like Microsoft Purview and define lineage/metadata patterns.
• Work with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Ensure compliance with data quality, security, and regulatory standards.
• Stay current with trends in data engineering and analytics.
